Publish memorable quotations on your portal, thanks to Ab·core
The Ab·core platform, in a major improvement, allows us to display quotes on our portal - not just one, but as many as we like, which we can set to appear one after another on our web page. In this article we show you how to do it.
“Don't let grass grow over the path of friendship”
That's a quote from Plato, a great truth, and also, a good way to make a web page more lively and interesting.
The Ab·core platform, in a major improvement, allows us to display quotes on our portal; and not just one, but as many as we like, which we can set to appear one by one on our web page.

- It's just a matter of activating the service.
- We go to our menu and, in 'quotes', create a category. For example, we could create categories according to the author of the quotes: Plato, Gandhi, etc., or, according to theme: love, business, intelligence, happiness, friendship, etc.
- Once we have created the category, we create a quote and classify it in one of the categories. The quotes can be translated into every one of the languages in which we publish our website.
These quotes can appear on our portal thanks to 'snippets'. In this case, Ab·core introduces 2 snippets, one which displays the latest quotes introduced, as many as we wish to predetermine, and another for quotes to be chosen at random.
This new system is also automatically integrated into the sitemap.
The final step is to find the quotes you want to display, and start publishing. Nothing better than a lively and entertaining website!
