What can we do with our e-mails during holidays?

You're going on holidays? So you can choose between reading your e-mails, even when you are resting, or creating a message that you are not available. Whatever you'll decide, read this news first.
You can use this feature to automatically send back an e-mail informing that you are on holiday, every time you receive a message.

It is very easy. You only have to gain access to administration and select the menu "Personal information". In the submenu select "Vacation message ".

A form will appear with the following fields:

Set Vacation Active: this menu activates and deactivates the automatic response. To make it work you have to select ' Yes '.

Days before a new replay: what happens if someone needs to send you several e-mails while you are out? Is he going to receive a message every time? In this option, you can indicate the number of days that you will be out, therefore, when someone writes to you the message will be sent only once... If you input a lower number, for example 2, the message would be delivered to the same person only if he/she sends an e-mail 2 days after the last time he/she received the message ' I am away on holiday '.

Subject: you can state here the subject of the automatic messages that are sent to those  e-mailing you.

Vacation e-mail text message: here you should write the text for the message. For example: “I will be out of the office from July13 until July18. I will answer your message as soon as I return to work. If it is very important you can contact Pepito. "

Finally, click in “Send”.

Happy holidays!

Ah, and do not forget to deactivate the automatic response when you return to work. Remember: in Set Vacation Active you should select "No".

If you decide to read your e-mails during holidays

Doesn't matter if you went to China or if you stay at the beach, some kilometeres away from your house. You just need an internet connection and you will be able to check your e-mail on the Webmail.
Just write the address of your organization, put slash "/" and type "webmail". That's all. Then, introduce your username and password as always and you will see all your e-mails.
