Communication, or the possibility of sending e-mails, but in a personalized manner

There are many that have commented to us having the problem of sending a message to a certain number of users, friends and collaborators in the electronic mail form. Above all, because our interest was to send personalized e-mails and also require a completed distribution list or a newsletter. In order to make this easier, we have added a new service function in our e-mail that allows us to send messages to a specific group of interest.
How does it work ?

First we log-in to the service by Newsletter & mailing. There we have added 2 new options: mass mailing and recipient group

Define your recipient groups (fig.1)

In order to be able to send an e-mail we must first define the group of friends that we want to send messages to and for this we need to go to Recipient Groups.

We have to click to add(passage 1) recipient group and enter the name of the group, the language and a brief description for us to record which receptors are being used . (Passage 2)

One way to create the group is to click on the option recipients and add e-mails. (Passage 3)

Those users can add from one in one, or en Bulk format, it says, entering a listing. (Passage 4)

If we make a enter as Bulk we can also enter the name of each person and their e-mail, following the format: complete name<address@email.com>.

To send the Message(fig.2)

Once we have defined our receptor groups, with their users, we can send our first communication. For this we go to the option Mass mailing and we click on "post message" .

In order to send the first message we have to define the language, which is going to filter the groups we can or cannot send the newsletter. Next we select the group (Recipient Group) that we want to send our communication to. We enter the subject(theme) of the mail.

We select the address that we want to send the newsletter, which by default is ours, but we can change it through and alias from the organization.
We can also define the name of the person that sent the mail, that by default is ours, and finally we can write the message.

In the message we can include the "tags" %%recipient-name%% and %%recipient-email%% that will be substituted the moment it is sent by the name and the address of the respective e-mail.

Now only you can receive our message

Before you send it, we can send a test message to our user like in the newsletter, simply with clicking on "test", and naturally we can edit the message until you are satisfied with it.

Once the message is in the correct format, clicking on "draft" will send it. (The process of sending is done from a periodic form every 10 minutes and the total time of sending it depends on the number of users are in the receptor group ). We are waiting for the first new functionality of 2008 to be utilized.
