Which browser to use being Ab·core user?
There are millions of discussions in the web trying to decide which web browser is the best one. We don’t want to join this chaotic and endless quarrels but there is something that forces as to share some observations with our users.
The problem is that some browsers don’t follow certain web standards well and display web pages incorrectly (e.g. do not display images, display fonts, colors or all the text format incorrectly) and limit its functionality. This is a general problem that concerns all web pages displaying in some browsers.
Since we’ve started working with the Ab·core platform we’ve been always struggling with the problem that also our users couldn’t see their web pages exactly in the same way like we do or some features on the website simply didn’t work, because they was using browsers, that weren't compatible with some web standards.
There is a simply and very popular, world wide known and accepted test called Acid3 that can check how well your browser follows web standards.
You can test your browser by yourself clicking here.
This are the results of the test for the most popular browsers:

It clearly shows that only Internet Explorer and old versions of some other browsers don’t pass at least 50% of the test, which is – as we think – the minimum to work efficiently with internet and also with Ab·core platform.
Therefore, we strongly recommend all the users of Ab·core platform to use the newest versions of Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Google Chrome.

Remember: there are many factors determining browser’s quality: safety, speed, features, plugins and more. Following some web standards is just one of them. But for Ab·core this is one of the most important one, so we decided to take the floor. We don’t want to say which browser is the best, we just want to recommend our users the most adequate for them so that we can cooperate better.
