On the last few days, we have focused on solving small failures and adding new functions.
The most important features are the new event field to attach an external URL, that provides more information on the event, as well as the improvement on the statistic system, which can tell us instantly where traffic come from, regarding a particular article or event.
To know how many times a news item has been read, which item has been read by the most people, during a given period of time, are things we like to know when we have a web page.
This is the purpose of the new 'stats' option which you will find in the news service. It gives us a list of news items ordered from the most to the least visited. Also, we can filter the result over a period of time or increase/reduce the number of results it gives us. Now you can know, for example, who makes the most popular news?
Let's put it to use!
Below there is a summary of the projects we have worked on during the month of September:
Many enhancements and new functionality on the Extranet, that will soon be ready to be open to the public .

Now the News, Newsletter and Stakeholders services, and next the other services that use the same tool to calculate the number of people that visit an article, and also to view graphically this results. The efficiency of the data base containing the log information is also enhanced.
